What is ALIAS

An ALIAS is a human-readable name linked to a bank account in Argentina (e.g. your shop name). It works as a shortcut instead of sharing a long CBU/CVU number, you share your ALIAS and anyone can send you money from any Argentine bank or digital wallet instantly.

Think of it like an email address, but for receiving bank transfers.

Creation rules

• Between 6 and 20 characters
• Only lowercase letters (a–z), numbers (0–9), and dots (.)
• No spaces, accents, or special characters
• Must be unique across the entire Argentine banking system
• Each account (CBU/CVU) has exactly one ALIAS at a time
