Payout Error Messages

When creating a payout, just like transactions, you will receive error messages when one of the required values is wrong or not formatted correctly. Here you can check the meaning of the errors you get and hopefully get help to fix those issues.

Here is the list of error messages you may receive when one of the parameters of your payout request contains an invalid value. For country specific error messages, please scroll further down this page.

MERCHANT_COMPLIANCE_VALIDATION_ERROR

0_PAYOUT_001_VALIDATION_ERROR

This can be due to two things:

  • Data validation error:
    Sequential data: 123456789... Repetitive data: 11111..., 22222..., 33333...

  • The user is blacklisted.

COMPLIANCE_VALIDATION_FAILED

(Brazil only) the "personalID" field contains a non-existent CPF

0_INVALID_PIX_KEY_TYPE (0)

The parameter RecipientPixKeyType is missing, or the value is invalid.

0_PAYOUT_EXTERNAL_REFERENCE ALREADY_ASSOCIATED_WITH_SHOPID

The value of ExternalReference was already used and must be changed.

0_PAYOUT_INVALID_ACCOUNT_NUMBER

The value of AccountNumber does not respect the formatting rules.

0_PAYOUT_INVALID_DOCUMENT_NUMBER

The value of DocumentNumber does not respect the formatting rules.

0_PAYOUT_INVALID_EMAIL

The value of email does not respect the formatting rules.

0_PAYOUT_REQUIRED_ACCOUNT_NUMBER

AccountNumber is null or not included in the request.

0_PAYOUT_REQUIRED_ACCOUNT_TYPE_CODE

PayoutAccountTypeCode is null or not included in the request.

0_PAYOUT_REQUIRED_BANKNAME

BankName is null or not included in the request.

ENTITY_NOT_FOUND

(GET only) The external reference provided for the call is invalid, make sure to input the correct externalReference.

No Terms And Conditions Approved

If your payout is for another country, the currency used in the request is not the country's local currency.

PAYMENT_PSP_ERROR: CONVERT_ERROR

The third party in charge of the currency conversion is having issues.

PAYOUT_BALANCE_INSUFFICIENT

Your shop balance is too low. Check Get Merchant Balance for more details.

PAYOUT_COUNTRY_NOT_ENABLED

The country you are using in your request was not enabled in your shop. If you believe this is an error, please contact our tech support team.

PAYOUT_MERCHANT_NOT_ENABLED

Payouts are not enabled for your shop. If you believe this is an error, please contact our tech support team.

PAYOUT_REQUIRED_ACCOUNT AGENCY_NUMBER

AccountAgencyNumber is null or not included in the request.

Invalid Pix Key Data

The Parameter RecipientPixKeyType is not valid.

CUSTOMER_INVALID_AGE

Underaged.

CUSTOMER_INVALID_AGE_NULL

Payer age not available.

CUSTOMER_INVALID_STATUS

CPF is not valid/ active (deceased customer).

CUSTOMER_IS_PEP

Politically exposed person.

CUSTOMER_IS_PEP_RELATED

Family member of a politically exposed person.

CUSTOMER_IS_IN_INTERNATIONAL_LISTS

This message indicates that the customer is on international risk lists, which could associate them with illicit activities such as money laundering or terrorist financing.

CUSTOMER_SUSPENDED_STATUS

CPF suspend by government triggered/criminal illegal activities.

CUSTOMER_POSSIBLE_INVALID_STATUS

In process of losing CPF.

CUSTOMER_NOT_FOUND

No CPF data available.

ERROR_TRYING_TO_PROCESS_PAYOUT

This error occurs when the payout cannot be processed on the partner's side. In the case of Brazil, the error is returned after three retry attempts, with each attempt within 24 hours after the user's initial attempt.
