SPEI Payout Bank Code Update for Nu México / Nubank (Mexico)

Following instructions from Banco de México, the SPEI institution code for Nu México (Nubank) is changing. For SPEI payouts, this code travels in the bankName field.

The previous code is discontinued on August 5 at 18:00 CST.

What PayRetailers has done

• Your payouts are protected. A safeguard automatically applies the new code, even when a request still carries the old one.
• Catalog and notifications updated. Our payout bank catalog (Payout Parameters) and merchant-facing notifications already reflect the change.

What you need to do

• For payouts to Nu México accounts, update the value you send in the bankName field to the new code before August 31, 2026, when our safeguard will be removed.
