New error message due to PersonalID validation
Since today June 3rd, we have reinforced our data validation rules to return the error message PERSONAL_ID_VALIDATION_FAILED
for FAILED deposits and ERROR withdrawals.
This message will apply to cases where the PersonalID related to a payment doesn't exist or belongs to any of these characteristics:
- Minors.
- Deceased individuals.
- International lists of money laundering and/or terrorism financing.
- PEPs and associates.
Currently, this validation has been implemented in Brazil, but will be applied in all the countries in which we provide payment deposit solutions.
Our objective is to bring more awareness to our merchants about users who attempt to deposit with a 'PersonalID' that fall into the characteristics mentioned, reinforcing the compliance rules we have in place.
Other validations that we already had working will continue to be performed as usual, such as daily/weekly/monthly limit rules, blacklisted users, AML controls and third-party payments.
